Research Project: Predicting Blast Loading as a Result of Geotechnical Conditions
This project aims to understand how the geotechnical conditions of soil affect the distribution of blast loading in a landmine explosion. New tools and modelling which take full account of geotechnical conditions will be used to predict how any given soil would affect impulsive loading, validated against physical testing.
