Summary
A collaborative project with four UK water companies (Anglian Water, Northumbrian Water, Scottish Water, and Welsh Water) to better understand the source, fate and transport of materials from source to tap in drinking water systems, with a particular focus on storage reservoirs. Specifically, the study will identify how and when different source and sink behaviours occur and how final treated water quality influences these behaviours, comprehensively linking sources, treatment, and distribution to customers.
