Our impact
We're dedicated to supporting the NHS to deal with cancer backlogs in order to save lives nationally and we're proud that our students are central to making this difference.

[At the moment Adam this is all I've grabbed - let me know if there's more or we can leave this page in draft form.]
- During a three month pilot between July and September 2021, we reduced patient backlogs by improving patient reporting times by 79% (May - June 2021 compared to July - September 2021, Sheffield Children's Hospital genomic haemato-oncology services).
- During this initial trial, we also detected patients within the backlog who were most vulnerable to rapid disease progression, flagging these individuals to the clinical lab for immediate reporting.
International scholarships
We offer a generous package of financial support for international students, including undergraduate and postgraduate taught scholarships worth £10,000 towards the annual tuition fee.
Applications are open for existing offer holders for programmes starting in autumn 2025.
