Shutong Yang
I got my undergraduate degree from Tianjin Normal University, where I studied information management and information system. Before studying abroad, I worked in cyber-security for a year whilst thinking about what I want for my life. I like reading and writing in my free time. My dream is to become a part time novelist and write some wonderful novel. My motto is ‘become better’ - that’s why my English name is Bette: it’s the word ‘better’ without ‘r’. I wish to do as much as I can in this year in Sheffield University: make more friends, know myself more and do more for other people. My immediate plans are to finish a novella (for which have already 40,000 words) and learn to play the guitar.
