Why did you decide to study Landscape Architecture at Sheffield?
When I first found out about Landscape Architecture, I did not know what I was getting into at all!
I studied BSc Geography for my undergraduate at Coventry University. After completing this course, I knew I wanted to continue focusing on the natural environment, but I also wanted to do something more creative.
Then I heard about Landscape Architecture and knew it was the perfect course to get what I wanted.
I chose Sheffield because I heard from my work colleagues at the time that it was one of the best University for Landscape Architecture in the UK and in that moment decided I would have to go to Sheffield to study.
There is a lot to love about Sheffield. My experiences with my fellow students has really defined my character and helped with my professional and personal development.

What have you enjoyed most about your course so far?
The people. There is a lot to love about Sheffield. But my experiences with my fellow students has really defined my character and helped with my professional and personal development.
My time here in Sheffield will be a defining moment for me as I progress through life, as I’m sure it will and has been for many.
What do you hope to do in the future and how do you think your degree experience will help with this?
So far, my landscape journey has been a rollercoaster and I have thoroughly enjoyed the highs and have grown from the lows.
Going forward, I hope to continue to develop and grow as I engage with various projects. I hope to change the narrative around Britain’s diverse communities and make spaces that are truly inclusive and representative of it’s users.
