Profile

Andrew graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2014 with an MMath in Mathematics with French. He later worked for several years at HBK Prenscia as a Software QA Analyst working on nCode DesignLife, an FEA-based fatigue simulation tool. 

Andrew rejoined the University of Sheffield in 2021 as a PhD student in the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, submitting his thesis in 2025 and finishing in 2026. Andrew's doctoral research was in algebraic topology and homological algebra, supervised by Dr. James Cranch and Prof. Sarah Whitehouse.

He then joined the School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering at the University as a postdoctoral research associate working with Dr. Helen Fairclough on the 'Resource-efficient, Adaptable and Practical Digitally Designed (RAPID) Structures' project.
