Who we are and what we do

We are the ISSAC Team at the University of Sheffield - we are not the Sheffield Student Team at UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI). Using the contact details on this page will not put you in touch with the Sheffield Student Team.

Contact us

ISSAC's in-person drop-in service will be closed on Wednesday 17th July.

Live chat will be available from 10am to 11:30pm and from 2pm to 3:30pm. The link to access this is below.

In person:

Find us on Level 3, Students’ Union Building (next to SSiD). No appointment needed.

Summer opening hours (June and July)

  • Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays: 10:00am to 12.30pm, 1:30pm to 4:30pm

On Wednesday afternoons we host a specialist 'Wednesday Work’ visa drop in. We suggest that students with post-study work visa questions come at this time if possible.
