Roles and responsibilities

• Act as main point of contact for postgraduate research (PGR) enquiries
• Provide support and advice for Postgraduate Research Directors
• Act as the lead contact for PGR scholarships and funding information
• Manage the PGR admissions activities
• Lead the induction process for all new PGR students
• Manage postgraduate student attendance monitoring
• Provide administrative support to Postgraduate Research Committees
• Oversee the allocation of second supervisors and personal tutors for PGR students
• Support the allocation of tutorial demonstrators
• Manage systems for Turnitin and Pebble Pad
• Manage the process for completion of PGR reports
• Develop and provide support for the Doctoral Development Programme
• Maintain systems and databases connected to PGR activity
• Responsible for completing PGR financial and progress reporting to Research Council funders
• Maintain web pages for prospective and current postgraduate students
