Cultural Industries Research Network

The SMI’s Dr Mark Taylor is part of a team launching the Cultural Industries Research Network (CIRN).

Cultural Industries Research Network Logo

The Cultural Industries Research Network (CIRN) is a network of researchers open to all staff and research students working on, or with, the broadly defined creative and cultural industries (CCIs) across the University of Sheffield.

Initially, the network will be coordinated and led by Dr Mark Taylor, alongside Dr Sophie Bishop (Management School), Dr Ysabel Gerrard (Sociological Studies), Prof David O’Brien (Management School), Katie Pruszynski (Faculty of Social Sciences), and Dr Alexandra Woodall (Management School).

I'm really excited to work with colleagues across the university on cultural industries. These questions aren't limited to any one discipline, so this should be a great opportunity for people to work together.
