They should specifically focus on research in arts, humanities or the social sciences.

Workshops are expected to be held in Sheffield by 31 July 2020 and must include the participation of doctoral researchers.

We now invite applications to apply for funding to organise collaborative workshops.

Proposals must include participants from The University of Sheffield and from Higher Education institutions in France.

Purpose

The partnership aims to encourage researchers to establish new directions for possible research collaborations – not only in their own areas of expertise, but also across disciplines.

The initiative seeks both to build on existing links and to stimulate new ones between The University of Sheffield and French academic and Higher Education organisations, such as French universities, grand ecoles and research organisations.

Value

Around £2,500 per workshop is available.
