Festival of Debate: Sharing Stories for More Inclusive Ageing

In partnership with The University of Sheffield, Lora Krasteva & Utopia Theatre

Not everyone reaches old age with the same degree of wellbeing. Throughout a lifetime, some people are prevented from accessing basic services, good working conditions, or fully participating in society because of who they are. These issues disproportionally affect many, if not all, racially minoritised communities. In this event, racially minoritised older people will tell stories through theatre, song, dance and poetry, exploring what needs to change to foster inclusive ageing in South Yorkshire.
