Chris is a research assistant in the Soil Nutrition and Quality Group (Sustainable Soils and Crops) at Rothamsted. His role is focused on research into nutrients and contaminants in soils and crops, with emphasis on developing new and existing analytical methods. He is currently working for the Growing Health Institute Strategic Program and the Greenhouse Gas Removal with UK agriculture via Enhanced Rock Weathering UKRI project. In this project he’s responsible for the field work including gas, soil pore water and underground water sampling, sample processing and some chemical analysis. His wider role as scientific technician includes sampling, preparation, analysis and archiving samples from field and pot experiments.
