ADVOCATE team present outcomes at the Second European Symposium on Water Technology and Management

Petra Hedbavna gave an impeccable oral presentation under the title "Enhanced groundwater bioremediation using microbial fuel cell concepts"

Uwe Schneidewind presented two posters, one based on his work on the AQUAREHAB project, "Development of rehabilitation technologies to decrease pollutant influx between groundwater and surface water near river banks", and the other one based on his work on the ADVOCATE project with the heading "Delineating Groundwater-Surface Water Exchange Flux Using Temperature-Time Series Analysis Methods".

Alistair Beames introduced his latest outcomes through the poster "Assessing Secondary Environmental Impacts and Sustainability of In Situ Thermal Remediation Technologies".

In addition, Ruth Garcia presented a general poster introducing the objectives of the ADVOCATE project, as well as two other initiatives in which her host organisation CL:AIRE was involved.

All of them were congratulated on their high research level and the delegates showed huge interest in their works.
