First ADVOCATE bulletins are published

With the aim of providing a clear vision of our fellows' research, CL:AIRE has published the first three ADVOCATE bulletins.

The bulletins describe practical aspects of research which have direct application to the characterisation, monitoring or remediation of contaminated soil or groundwater.

The bulletin titles are:

  • Remediation of TCE contaminated groundwater using permeable reactive barriers (written by Johana Grajales)
  • Selecting reactive materials for permeable barriers to remediate groundwater contaminated with heavy metals and BTEX: batch and column experiments (written by Franklin Obiri-Nyarko)
  • Enhancing bioremediation of groundwater by microbial interaction with a solid-state electrode: proof-of-concept (written by Petra Hedbavna)

These publications are listed on our Outputs page. You can also find more information on the CL:AIRE website.
