MEsenteric Excision and Kono-S Anastomosis Trial (MEErKAT):
This is a randomised control trial trying to find out which options are best for people having surgery for their Crohn's disease. We are testing whether a type of bowel connection (an anastomosis) called the 'Kono-S technique, or if the amount of mesentery removed during surgery can prevent people's Crohn's disease coming back.
