The Conceptual Idea Category focuses on validating market demand; it requires demonstrable evidence that a proposed idea addresses a genuine, existing need within a sufficient target audience.

EvoBand delivers steady resistance in a portable form – a resistance band with the consistency of a cable machine.

 How It Works:

• Uses a pulley-based mechanism with force-constant springs, similar to those found in watches and measuring tapes, ensuring consistent resistance throughout motion. • Compact and lightweight, making it easy to use at home or on the go.

• Adjustable resistance levels, catering to beginners, athletes, and physiotherapy patients.

Plans for next 6 months

• Prototype Refinement (Month 1–2): Improve durability, adjust ergonomics, and finalise clasping system.

• User Testing (Month 2–3): Work with athletes and physiotherapists to get structured feedback.

• Market Validation (Month 3–4): Collect interest through online surveys, showcasing at events, and engaging pilot partners.

 • Manufacturing Plan (Month 5): Identify suppliers, optimise cost structure and logistics

 • Launch & Scale (Month 6+): Build traction with a soft launch, begin targeted outreach to early adopters.

Winning the Conceptual Idea Award is more than just recognition — it’s a green light to keep innovating. evoBand was born from a real need I experienced during strength and rehab training. This award fuels my commitment to refine the product, collaborate with users, and create something that truly empowers people — whether they’re athletes, physiotherapists, or everyday fitness enthusiasts. I’m honoured by the support and excited to turn this concept into a high-impact, real-world solution.
