Winner of the Conceptual Idea Category. ResQ Systems exists to provide the civil market with bespoke advanced, autonomous, and safe drone solutions for use in peaceful applications.
The Conceptual Idea Category focuses on validating market demand; it requires demonstrable evidence that a proposed idea addresses a genuine, existing need within a sufficient target audience
We aim to deliver an affordable, complete drone system that is simple to operate and effective.
Plans for next 6 months include:
• Begin simulations on our concept designs - investigate ducted fans and tandem wings.
• Procure CFRP materials and begin testing proprietary construction techniques.
• Continue work on software - begin design of our Ground Station.
• Fly a Ranger prototype (excluding compute and sensors) by Q4.
Drones have been an interest of mine since I was a child. To have the opportunity to build broader systems using them to save lives is incredibly special to me. I and the members of ResQ Systems are thrilled to have the support of Emerge in developing our novel technologies and proving that drones are the future of Search and Rescue. We look forward to establishing new contacts through Emerge and creating connections with industry partners to deliver truly affordable UAS solutions that are dependable and reliable where it matters most.
