Warren Bramley is a strategic designer with over two decades of experience at the intersection of art, design, and futures thinking. As an advisor and consultant he has worked with a variety of clients including universities, non-profits, and civic institutions, employing strategic design and futures practice to tackle complex issues. His notable projects include shaping Manchester's identity as the Original Modern city with designer Peter Saville, pioneering design fiction experiments with Save the Children, imagining speculative futures with Gehl Architects and strategic business modelling with NESTA.

Starting his career in the late 90s at the iconic Factory Records, home to influential artists such as Joy Division and New Order, he later moved into design amidst the music industry's digital upheaval, leading design practice four23 as CEO for over a decade leading innovative projects including stadium tour visuals for U2, interactive public exhibits for London Design Festival, art direction with Lionel Messi in the Barcelona Olympic Stadium, and holographic collaborations with Stella McCartney.

The forthcoming talk will present reflections and case studies from a distinguished career in the creative industries, delving into the nuances of initiating and leading companies in a fast paced and ever-changing sector. He will impart practical advice, forged from a wealth of experience, on nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship.
