Join us for a practical workshop and networking session, where we'll delve into valuable reflections from our assessment process and we'll share some general observations from our Finals Day judging panel. We'll explore the power of "failing fast" to motivate your learning.
This session will equip you with practical considerations and key questions to help you make an informed decision: Do you refine and persevere with your original vision, or strategically pivot towards a new opportunity? We'll share real-life examples of successful business pivots and offer interactive exercises to help you move forward.
This is an opportunity to network and share notes with fellow aspiring entrepreneurs. If you haven't got an idea for a business yet or do decide to pivot, take this opportunity to support others or potentially join them on their business journey. You may have the skills they need!
Aim of the session:
- Have greater ability to understand and self analyse the key elements of your business idea/business
- Be able to move forward with a clear sense of direction and achievable actions
- Network and share your thoughts and skills with others in the community
The Emerge Awards Showcase competition unearthed some brilliant and diverse ideas from our entrepreneurial community. If you didn't succeed this year, don't be disheartened. It is still a big achievement putting an application forward! So whether you were a runner-up or didn't quite reach the final stage, or perhaps missed this year's competition entirely - this session is designed to help you navigate the next steps with your idea.
