About the Awards
Outstanding Customer Service
Delivering excellent customer service and satisfaction is really important to our Department. That is why it is so important to recognise those members of staff who go “above and beyond” in delivering exceptional customer service. Staff nominated for this award may have exceeded customers´ expectations in a particular situation, may offer consistently high standards of service on a day to day basis or may have gone that extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
This award will recognize someone who regularly inspires others with their positive and enthusiastic attitude in the work place. The winner will be someone who is committed to supporting colleagues and can be easily recognised as an invaluable member of the Department. They may have recently overcome or continue to balance personal challenges in their own life whilst performing their job role to a high standard. Length of service does not matter for this award -your inspirational colleague could have been with the department for twelve months or twelve years. Whatever the reason, the key is that the person is an inspiration to you!
Innovation and Excellence
This award will be presented to a member of staff who has made an outstanding contribution to the Department by showing innovation in the delivery of excellent services. Innovation in our roles can be seen by either creating, initiating or driving through changes that result in improvements to any aspects of service delivery or working life.
This award will recognize a team which, by the way they collaborate with other areas of the University or within our department demonstrate our values and behaviours. Specifically, members of the team create a way of working across functional boundaries that is based on mutual respect, trust and the development of excellent working relationships.
