Dr Karim Garzón-Díaz

Karim is from Colombia, she is an Occupational Therapist and holds a PhD in Social Sciences, her work, among others, has been oriented to reflection about how the people learn about disability, especially with higher education students and social communities. She designed a subject called Disability and Society since 2001, for undergraduate students at School of Medicine and Health Sciences of Universidad del Rosario in Bogotá, she is associate professor there.

During her fellow in iHuman, she wants to deepen and systematize her pedagogical practice (thoughts, reasoning and attitudes) in Disability Teaching and explore opportunities of joint research around this thematic.
