Katherine Runswick-Cole, Professor of Education, The School of Education and iHuman at the University of Sheffield, was invited to present a version of her inaugural lecture at the Department of Education at the University of Malaya on 4th April, 2019. Katherine’s talk focused needs, rights and humanity in the education system in the UK.   Katherine talked about a number of projects that are challenging the exclusion of disabled people in the UK, including Living Life to the Fullest: life, death, disability and the human and the Crook Fellowship scheme.

An audience of academics, disabled people and family members travelled from across Malaysia to Katherine’s talk.
