The workshop brought together students, faculty and activists to engage with key questions raised by the intersections of disability, black, queer and indigenous studies.

Dan said: “This was a great opportunity to learn about new developments in the interdisciplinary field of critical disability studies; not least in considering the tensions and connections with other transformative fields such as indigenous studies which, in their own way, reframe and revisit taken-for-granted ideas and assumptions”.
