Doctoral Researcher
- Profile
-
I am an ESRC 1+3 funded doctoral researcher within the School of Education where my research takes an interdisciplinary approach to consider disability, sexuality, and the media. More specifically, it adopts a participatory approach to centre disabled women’s lived experiences of sexuality as a valuable source of knowledge. My supervisors are Dr. Kirsty Liddiard and Professor Daniel Goodley.
- Qualifications
-
I also hold a BA (Hons) in Education and Special Educational Needs (2017), an MA in Disability Studies (2019), a Post Graduate Certificate in Education 14+ English (ESOL and Literacy) qualification (2018), and an MA in Social Research (2023, this latter MA being funded as part of my 1+3 ESRC award).
As a qualified teacher, I also have a keen interest in teaching pedagogy and quality assurance within the FE sector.
