Ruth Whiteside

I have spent twenty years in education, including senior leadership roles, SENDco and teacher researcher, and I have an M.Ed. in Leadership Enquiry. I currently work in the field of emotional intelligence and how we can use it - intentionally - to support both self and others, and to communicate our needs and aspirations more effectively. I also deliver training around Adversity (not just Adverse Childhood Experiences) and how we build resilience in self, families and communities. I'm particularly interested in how we can work collaboratively with schools and families to support children as they grow and develop.
