Launch of the Mesothelioma UK Research Centre

The official launch of the Mesothelioma UK Research Centre was on Monday 23rd November, the launch marks the start of an exciting programme of research over the next three years.

We were thrilled at the positive response to our launch on Monday 23rd November. News stories about the Mesothelioma Research Centre featured on the BBC and on the front page of the Yorkshire Post. Centre co-director Dr Clare Gardiner gave a radio interview for BBC Radio Sheffield and for Asbestos.com introducing the Centre and discussing our planned research. 

The Mesothelioma UK Research Centre at The University of Sheffield is funded by the charity Mesothelioma UK. We conduct a portfolio of robust and rigorous research with a reputation for excellence, to benefit the care of people diagnosed with mesothelioma and their families.
