16 July 2020, 3:30-4:30: Careers in Music Q&A - Expert Panel Discussion

(for A-Level/BTEC and GCSE Music students and teachers)

Thinking about a career in music? Want to know what it’s like to play in an orchestra? What really goes on backstage to make a concert happen?

Join some professional musicians and staff from Manchester Camerata for a friendly chat about the different directions a music qualification can take you. So whether you’re interested in GCSE or A-Level music, or are unsure whether to take the plunge, or just want to find out more, here’s your chance!

We have 6 musicians booked in for the Q&A with a really diverse range of skills and experience:

  • Caroline Pether (Manchester Camerata co-leader)
  • Simmy Singh (violin)
  • Amina Cunningham (flute)
  • Linton Stephens (bassoon)
  • Lizzie Hoskin – Head of Camerata in the Community
  • Rebecca Parnell – Creative Producer
  • Jess Gillam - Manchester Camerata Artistic Partner (saxophone)
