Placing a queer lens over recent musical history and new music.

Rolf Hind is a major force as a soloist, composer, recording artist, chamber musician and collaborator.

He’s played on the soundtrack to the iconic film Call Me By Your Name, written pieces for BBC Singers, played at Carnegie Hall and Sydney Opera House and during lockdown worked to produce a piano-led response to the pandemic from 100 composers.

Rolf curates and performs in the new music festival Occupy The Pianos and his compositions have been nominated in the British Composer’s Awards. He’s currently working on an operatic project about the poet Sufi Rumi, working again with his long-time collaborator Frederick Wake-Walker.

We’re excited to welcome a musician with the virtuosic skill and experimental daring of Rolf Hind and his varied programme of new and known music that also offers the chance for some audience participation!

This concert will be live-streamed using our state-of-the-art video and sound equipment from the intimate surroundings of our Drama Studio.
