Profile

I am a UK-based reproductive, maternal and child health specialist with over 20 years of implementing and managing health projects in Africa, Asia and the Caribbean. I have a medical background as I have earned a degree in Midwifery at the University of Trieste in Italy. In 2009, I have earned a Master in Public Health at the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Antwerp and prior to that, a Master in Humanitarian Assistance in Rome. Recently, I participated at a post-graduate in International Health Consultancy at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.

I have significant experience in managing, implementing and monitoring reproductive, maternal and child health programs. As consultant, I took part at different evaluations for USAID, IDB, and DIFD.

I am a native Italian speaker and I am fluent in French and Spanish.

Research interests

“Inclusion of fertility care into the reproductive health policy and practice in The Gambia

My research interests are related to infertility services’ provision in developing countries. I believe that with both my experience in low-resource countries and my background in reproductive health, I could contribute to this, not so researched, public health matter.
