Profile

I joined ScHARR (HEDS) as a PhD student in March 2020. My PhD is jointly funded by University of Sheffield School of Health and Related Research & GSK. Prior to starting my PhD, I finished my MS in statistics at Shahjalal University of Science & Technology, Bangladesh. After completing my MS, I joined as a lecturer in my university in 2014. In 2016, I got VLIR Scholarship and earned my second MS in Biostatistics from Hasselt University, Belgium with distinction.

Research interests

Title of PhD: Indirect comparisons using single-arm trials in health technology assessment (HTA).

My main research interest lies in the field of Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Machine Learning and specially in clinical trial issues. My ambition is to lead my own research projects and create evidence-based innovations.

Currently designated as Assistant Professor at Shahjalal University of Science & Technology, Department of Statistics, Bangladesh.
