BA Modern Languages – German, French and Dutch
Why did you chose to study in Sheffield:
It’s a great city, and I felt it was really friendly and a good fit for me.
What made the University of Sheffield particularly stand out for you:
The range of languages and the flexibility of the course.
What aspects of your degree do you find the most interesting? Is there a particular module you enjoy most:
I really enjoy history, particularly Mediterranean and also film studies.
What do you like about studying languages at The University of Sheffield?
Flexible, you get to know everyone on your course.
What do you plan to do when you finish:
Go into training to become a teacher.
Do you take part in any university or department activities as well as your studies?
I take part in a lot of activities with the German society, and I am in the dance society.
What do you enjoy most about living in Sheffield:
That it is so close to the Peak District, and also I love the city, it feels very safe.
