I began my studies at the University of Sheffield in 2019 as a part time PhD student in ScHARR. The rest of the time I work as a senior technical analyst at the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) since 2005 leading on the production of evidence-based guidelines for the NHS and wider health and social care system. Before NICE, I was employed at the Health Development Agency as a Senior Research Specialist.

My research interests relate to how robust syntheses of qualitative evidence (“qualitative systematic reviews”) can contribute to the production of evidence based guidelines by expert committees alongside more traditional systematic reviews and narrative reviews.
