Trials Support Officer

I joined the Clinical Trials Research Unit (CTRU) in December 2022. I am currently the Trials Support Officer for the following trials:

  • COMMEND: A feasibility study and randomised controlled trial of acceptance and COMmitment therapy for people with Motor nEuroN Disease
  • MSS3 (Multiple Symptoms Study 3): Pragmatic trial of a community-based clinic for patients with persistent (medically unexplained) physical symptoms

Prior to joining to the CTRU I worked as laboratory technician within the Centre for Genetics & Genomics Versus Arthritis at The University of Manchester, before completing my MSc in Reproductive & Developmental Medicine at the University of Sheffield.

Alongside my studies I worked for the Sheffield City Council COVID-19 Response Team in testing and vaccination centres across Sheffield.
