Innovate UK is launching, on Monday 27th June, a Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) competition on Monitoring Reporting and Verification (MRV). Details of the competition can be found here: Competition overview - SBRI: MRV tools and techniques for land based greenhouse gas removal, phase 1 - Innovation Funding Service.

Organisations can apply for a share of £375,000, inclusive of VAT, to develop tools, technologies and techniques to assist and enable the monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) of land based greenhouse gas removal (GGR) methods. One of the requirements of the call is that applicants must work with or use data from demonstration projects (either the UKRI Demonstrators or the BEIS GGR competition). Although academic institutes are not eligible, many research project partners are likely to be.

There is an applicant briefing on 13th July, for which you can register and attend here.
