Profile

I was awarded a BA-MSc in Urban and Regional Planning from the Istanbul Technical University. Following the completion of my PhD in Housing Economics at the University of Sheffield, I have worked on funded projects for the Interreg IVB, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Department of Communities and Local Government, Investment Property Forum.

I am currently the Study Abroad and Erasmus Tutor.

Research interests

My research interests focus on understanding the structure of urban housing market and specifically exploring the relative merits of different approaches to capturing neighbourhood segmentation within house price models by using quantitative methods.

My research adopts a variety of econometric methods to the analysis of property markets by investigating the effectiveness of different modelling techniques at capturing housing market segmentation.
