WOERRC is a member of a Work, Employment and Labour Administration Network, which is supported by the International Labour Organization (ILO). The core of this network consists of academics and officials that have participated in various labour administration projects for the ILO, in which WOERRC has been centrally involved. The other core academic members of the network are the University of Texas at Austin, University of Cape Town, University of Götttingen and University of Colombo (Sri Lanka). The purpose of the network is to develop knowledge, evidence and research capacity in the area of labour administration, defined by Convention 150 of the ILO as all public administration activities in the field of national labour policy.
During 2016 and 2017, exchanges are taking place between WOERRC and the University of Texas at Austin, facilitated by Mobility Funding awarded by the University of Sheffield's Faculty of Social Sciences.
