Student Success – a celebration, fireside chat, and drinks reception

A special event to celebrate how Sheffield alumni and friends are helping talented students access higher education. 

This uplifting event is an opportunity to discover the difference you’re making to young people’s lives and their future ambitions. 

Over drinks and canapés, you’ll hear directly from students, staff and alumni donors about the transformative impact your support makes.

The burdens that some students carry are heavier than many of us can imagine. Financial barriers can impede not only their studies and social lives, but also their mental health, self-confidence, and aspirations. That's why support from alumni and donors is so crucial. From supporting those in financial need, to providing internships and mentoring, as well as helping students thrive through clubs and societies — you impact every student's experience at Sheffield.

You'll also learn more about our new scholarships programme, and how you can help welcome 500 bright new students to Sheffield this September.
