Search Leri Morton - fueling education in memory of her father Leri Morton has a deep family connection with the University of Sheffield. She left a gift in her Will of over £140,000 to set up a new scholarship in memory of her father John William Morton, who was a proud Sheffield alumnus. 7 June 2023 Professor Rob Bradgate and Professor Margaret Llewelyn Rob Bradgate and Margaret Llewelyn both lectured in the School of Law at the University of Sheffield for a combined 36 years. They inspired students with their humorous ways of teaching and sharing their passion and interest in the law. 10 March 2023 Emeritus Professor Peter Bryan Warr It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Professor Peter Warr, Emeritus Professor of Psychology on 18th February 2023, aged 85. 7 March 2023 Dr Monica Cheale - A life committed to helping others Dr Monica Cheale was awarded a scholarship when she studied at Sheffield in the 1950s. Now in her Will, she leaves a gift to support students in that same position. 13 February 2023 Stephen John Thompson - A lifetime dedicated to volunteering and adventure Stephen John Thompson’s lifetime was shaped by his dedication to chemical research and a love for the outdoors.
