Architecture offer holder days
As part of your offer holder day at Sheffield, you'll be spending some quality time getting to know the School of Architecture and your chosen course.
Arriving at the department
You will have booked to visit us 10am to 12.30pm or 2pm to 4.30pm on your offer holder day. Please arrive in good time for the start of your booked session, as we'll need to scan the QR code from your booking to register you.
Your arrival location is: the Arts Tower. Please go to floor 16. You can view this on our interactive campus map, and there will also be lots of open day staff and ambassadors around campus to assist you.
If you arrive late for your booked session, please report to the general information stand on the Students’ Union concourse, where event staff will be able to help.
When booking, you'll be able to reserve a place for yourself and one guest at the School activities. To ensure safe venue capacities, the School will be unable to accommodate any additional unbooked visitors.
However, you're welcome to bring additional guests to accompany you on the day, and we would encourage these guests to take part in our range of central exhibitions and tours while the department activities are running.

Registration and refreshments
Arrive at the Arts Tower for registration. Guests to help themselves to tea and coffee and chat to our student ambassadors and staff before each session.
Departmental welcome talk (45 minutes)
Hear from our academics about how the School of Architecture gets our students ready for the first step on their career ladder. You will also find out more about our active student society and the types of events they run throughout the academic year.
What to expect as a student at the School of Architecture (45 minutes)
Our current students share their experiences of studying here including what happens at a Design Review, their experience in industry and their plans for the future.
Questions & Answers (15 minutes)
Your opportunity to ask our students and staff any questions you may have about the course or studying at Sheffield. For queries relating to admissions, support or accommodation our experts will be on hand to answer these in the Octagon Centre so please allow time to visit them.
