The Bradfield Environment Centre is an eight hectare site that is made up of:
- Dry acid heathland
- Unimproved acid grassland
- Mixed plantation woodland
- Supported laboratory space
The site contains a modern laboratory with three labs for carrying out sample processing and analysis. It is particularly amenable to long-term plant growth experiments and shorter term field projects and teaching.
