- write the perfect application and succeed at interviews
Events are open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from all disciplines and in all years of study, as well as recent graduates. We also run sessions aimed at international students, postgraduates and FirstGeneration+.
Our events programme includes:
We run short talks and workshops to help you develop your skills.
We run events throughout the year that provide you with the opportunity to network with employers and find out about the opportunities that they have available, including a programme of careers fairs.
We’ve also arranged for employers to bring pop-up stands onto campus: look out for them in departments and cafes!
Come along to an employer presentation to find out about working in a particular organisation. You will be able to gain valuable information about selection criteria, graduate opportunities, work experience and placements.
These workshops allow you to learn and practise some of the key transferable skills which employers look for. Some are delivered as Employer Challenges, providing an opportunity for you to test yourself against tasks set in real assessment centres, there are also sessions to help with your interview technique. All delivered by top graduate employers, offering you the opportunity to learn from their expertise.
Appointments provide you with an opportunity to talk to employers in an informal environment. You’ll be able to meet employers with either a scheduled appointment or just by dropping in on the day. Be sure to come prepared with relevant questions to make the most of this fantastic opportunity!
