What's On

Our events programme will help you find out more about possible careers, allowing you to meet employers and find out exactly what they look for in their employees.

You can use these events to:

  • network with employers, finding out great interview tips and application advice
  • gain a unique insight into graduate roles
  • discover great work experience and placement opportunities
  • benefit from employers’ expertise in practical skills development to improve your chances of success

Events are open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from all disciplines and in all years of study, as well as graduates. We also run sessions aimed at international students, postgraduates and FirstGeneration+.

Skills Sessions

Skills Sessions

Skills sessions allow you to learn and practise some of the key transferable skills which employers look for. There are also sessions to help your interview technique and to allow your to experience a real assessment centre. These interactive workshops are delivered by top graduate employers who will be offering you the opportunity to learn from their expertise.

Employer Appointments

Appointments provide you with an opportunity to talk to employers in an informal environment. You’ll be able to meet employers with either a scheduled appointment or just by dropping in on the day. Be sure to come prepared with relevant questions to make the most of this fantastic opportunity!

Look out for employers across campus. We’ve arranged for employers to bring pop-up stands into departments and cafes; a chance for you to meet them informally and find out more about their graduate and placement opportunities.
