Our University Vision and Strategy aims to equip you to stand out as a confident global citizen, able to make meaningful contributions to society. We are embedding Education for Sustainable Development into curriculum across all taught programmes and, as a leading research institution, we are contributing to the challenge of tackling climate change and other sustainable development goals at a broader level. 

We recognise the increasing importance that students and graduates place on careers which contribute to the sustainability of the planet and positively improve the lives of the people who inhabit it. Our careers and employability provision enables you to explore, identify, access and progress your career in whatever field you choose. 

We provide impartial and unbiased careers guidance which is at the heart of professional careers practice to enable you to make your own free and informed choices about future career pathways, and to consider what impact you wish to make on the world around you through your work, regardless of your degree subject.

Many employers, across a range of sectors and industries, are looking to recruit those who can help to accelerate change and contribute to more sustainable practice, including in energy and power generation. Working with our students and employers, we strive to enhance sustainable job opportunities and widen access to careers with positive impact.

You will discover what positive impact careers look like, master the skills need to find a job with impact, and identify sustainable organisations that align with your values.
