Department tops rankings for Chemical Engineering in UK

The Department has achieved top rankings in the recently published National Student Survey (NSS) data.

The Department scored 88% overall student satisfaction in the NSS 2019, which places the department 2nd in the prestigious Russell Group of Chemical Engineering Departments.

The NSS asks 27 questions, relating to eight aspects of the learning experience. The survey gathers the opinions of students from across the country that are used by universities to help improve student experience, and also helps to inform prospective students’ choices. Outstandingly the department are top 4 in the Russell Group for all question categories.
