Description
This event is open to all fully registered students at the University.
A workshop for students focusing on the issues that matter to University students:
- Your income at university and beyond, discussing student loans, employment, taxes, and payslips
- How to budget your expenses and the cost of living independently
- Money-saving tips including, renting, food shopping, travel costs, and what to do if you overspend
- How to manage your money well beyond university, including banking and student loan repayments
First year undergraduates would particularly benefit but any level of study is welcome to sign up.
Before signing up to attend a workshop, please read the following information:
- You will need to log on to the workshop link five minutes before the workshop start time so that you are ready to start the workshop promptly.
- When attending a workshop, you must have both your camera and microphone on. Please ensure you are in a suitable space where you are able to speak and engage with the workshop content.
- Have a pen/pencil and paper available to use.
- You will be required to complete an evaluation survey after the workshop. Anonymous information from these evaluation forms may be used in The Money Charity's reports or on their website or other promotional material.
Workshop places are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.
