Intense media engagement for GLI Policy Analysts at first G20 summit hosted in China

Last month a group of seven students (Rishabh Kumar, Yanrong Lu, Evelyn Mantoiu, Jessica Peppiate, Melissa Pilgrim, Eleni Ravanis and Annemie Zimmerman) from across the Faculty of Social Sciences engaged in two days of policy analysis at the G20 in Hangzhou, China. Led by Dr Garrett Brown and Professor Hugo Dobson, students and staff were interviewed by Chinese and international media, including newspapers, radio and TV channels from Australia, India and Israel.

The GLI Team were actively engaged in the G20 international media centre at the first ever G20 summit to be hosted in China. They joined thousands of journalists, policy makers, diplomats and politicians in the former Southern Song Dynasty capital of Hangzhou.
