LOACT - Low Carbon Action in Ordinary Cities
Low Carbon Action in Ordinary Cities is a project that focuses on the most rapidly growing urban areas in Africa and Asia. The project examines what kind of innovations for climate change emerge in the context of rapid urbanization. It also examines the politics of climate change, looking at how narratives of urban intervention have changed over the years.
The University’s four flagship institutes bring together our key strengths to tackle global issues, turning interdisciplinary and translational research into real-world solutions.
