LEAF Silver award - October 2025

The Laboratory Efficiency Assessment Framework (LEAF) is a standard set by University College London to improve the sustainability and efficiency of laboratories. After a few months of hard work refining our techniques as well as adopting new processes to improve the sustainability of the ongoing work in the lab, the Hearing Research Group has now been awarded the Silver level award which reflects our commitment to sustainability.

The Hearing Research Group attended the annual Inner Ear Biology conference in Germany to showcase our research. This event was a good opportunity to gain feedback and discuss the latest developments in the field of hearing research.
