Entry requirements for students from Bolivia
We have been welcoming students from Bolivia for many years and our staff are very familiar with the Bolivian education system and qualifications.
High entrance requirements for our degree programmes at Sheffield reflect the quality of the University.
All applicants are required to have an internationally recognised English language qualification such as IELTS.
The following information is for guidance only.
Undergraduate Programmes e.g. BSc, BA, BEng/ MEng
Students completing the local Bolivian High School system will need to undertake an approved foundation programme (such as those offered by our University of Sheffield International College or NCUK) before entry onto an undergraduate degree at the University of Sheffield.
Postgraduate Taught Programmes e.g. MA, MSc
For students having completed a Bachelor's degree in Bolivia most of our Master's courses will typically look for a GPA of 75, however, we are likely to consider lower scores achieved in public universities and where a strong class ranking is provided.
Postgraduate Research Programmes e.g. MPhil, PhD, PhD with Integrated Masters
Holders of a good master degree from a recognised Bolivian university will be considered for direct admission to postgraduate research programmes.
