Professor and Director of the Centre for Machine Intelligence
We are seeking an outstanding leader to manage and develop the new Centre for Machine Intelligence (CMI) at the University of Sheffield. This is a senior professorial position with responsibility for developing and delivering the University’s AI strategy. As Director you will have the opportunity to forge and lead a world-leading, multi-disciplinary research programme for AI, support research-led teaching and deliver responsible impact for this powerful and ground-breaking technology. We expect that your chair will be in the Department of Computer Science, but it could be affiliated with another department depending on your area of research expertise.
