Easter Vacation events
Join our programme of Global Campus events over the Easter break, including trips to local English villages and lots of activities around the city, with visits to local parks and shops in Sheffield.
Our events are open to all students who want to meet others, make friends and settle into life in the University.
You don’t need to sign up in advance, just turn up on the day (unless stated otherwise). Global Campus Ambassadors (in orange) will be at the meeting points to welcome you.

Global Campus Semester Two programme (Monday 15 April to Friday 17 May 2024)
Our Global Campus programme runs from Monday 15 April to Friday 17 May 2024 and there are events and activities almost every day of the week.
The programme includes in-person chat and discussion sessions, as well as social events (including our weekly Global Cafe).
All our events and activities are facilitated by our team of Global Campus Ambassadors (in bright orange shirts!) and University staff who will make you feel welcome right away.
Overview of the programme
Arts and Crafts
Join our Ambassadors and fellow students each week for a fun session of arts and crafts.
Local History Walks
Develop a greater sense of belonging to your new home city on these walking tours led by local historian Dr Tim Cooper. There is a different walk each week, starting from central campus or the city centre. See the specific History Walks below.
Global Cafe
The weekly flagship event for Global Campus. Drop in at any time for free tea and coffee and an opportunity to socialise and chat with our Global Campus Ambassadors and fellow students. A great way to keep making friends throughout the year!
Chat and Games
Come along to this event to chat and play games with other students and ambassadors. Whether you want to chat about your week or the weekend ahead, or play board or card games with friends, this is an excellent space to let off some steam, make new friends and have a great time!
